The Al Gore environment/climate change movie "An Inconvenient Truth" is set to be shipped to all the middle schools in the UK.

"Environment Secretary David Miliband and Education Secretary Alan Johnson announced plans to distribute Gore's film, An Inconvenient Truth, on the day the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report was published in Paris. The report by leading scientists, said global warming has started and is "very likely" caused by humans.".....more there

"Middle schools"? The article says "secondary schools". These cover the 11-16 or 11-18 age range, so I suppose they're more like US high schools. Middle schools in the UK are a rarity, covering the 8-12 age range.
