A new study(pdf) of the 11 year solar cycle and global temperatures during the same period shows a correlation between solar output and global warming.

"They find that times of high solar activity are on average 0.2º C warmer than times of low solar activity, and that there is a polar amplification of the warming. This result is the first to document a statistically significant globally coherent temperature response to the solar cycle, the authors note." from the ScienceDaily writeup.

Only it leaves us with a tougher question: What can we do then?

Throwing buckets of water against the sun?
Go live in caves until it's over, mating like cincillas, Doc. Strangelove style?

I'd go for the last. Let's see where depleted mines real estate price is aiming.

2. This study does not conflict with current theories of Anthropogenic Global Climate Change. Did you actually read the the article or the pdf?
