China to Greatly Expand Petroleum Reserves

China is implementing a plan to build an official state sponsored domestic oil reserve to a one month supply by 2010. They estimate this will be 94.8 million barrels. After that, they want to expand it further into a three month supply over the next decade following. Until recently only some of the private companies maintained any sort of reserve.
