An awake employee who was monitoring some unusual computer activity on his screen at his bank in Sweden got quite the shock when he looked under his desk and found some "additions" to the the local area network. Thieves had put some gear under there, apparently during an earlier break-in, and were right in the midst of an elaborate wire transfer-he just pulled the plug to stop it!

This reminds me of the Sumitomo Mitsui keylogger case, in which the crooks started with the cleaning crew and gained remote admin passwords which reportedly gave them control over the wire room.
