Fedora 10 is now officially out, although there was a leaked version floating around for the past few days. I had checked earlier this morning and the page still said coming in one day, but now it has changed. Here are the Fedora 10 release notes. Here is the get Fedora 10 page.

ed.z.: I think I will try the full bloat version this time instead of just gnome, I want to try out the newer KDE as well. Ya'll on high speed have fun! Let us know first impressions and gotchas, etc.

It's not like the software was secret.  Anyone keen enough could download the bits directly from the build system all this time.

I myself go through phases of desktop environments.  It typically goes something like this: KDE{3.5,4} -> Full-blown Gnome -> Gnome-light -> XFCE4 -> {Fluxbox,GnuStep,E} -> KDE, etc.

I am on Fluxbox right now.

I have been on Fluxbox for years now, I went through almost all others after WindowMakers development stalled (or I couldn't get the packages etc.), it is doing its job perfectly for me, I have two screen setup with xinerama so no fancy 3D desktops for me :-).

That is, I have compiz and suns java desktop on my laptop but that is more for playing around anyway :-)
