European Commission Not Pleased with Big Pharma

The European Commissioner for economic competition has been looking into the actions of the large pharmaceutical companies and has found trends where they are trying to stifle the access of generic and cheaper medicines by such things as "patent clustering" around single medicines and excessive interference with national regulating bodies.
